"Although designer Paula Bjerketvedt has a background in clothing design, it was a friend's wedding that inspired her to launch ila Handbags last summer. She couldn't make the trek to Paris to watch her friend tie the knot in person, so instead she designed her a clutch. Once her friend laid eyes on it, she immediately wanted more of them for her bridal party. The rest, as they say, is history. Bjerketvedt draws inspiration from the past and has a fondness for vintage prints, resulting in some stunning looks—but that means many handbags are limited edition, so if one catches your eye, be sure to snatch it up right away.
