ila Handbags is a wife and husband design team that bring a unique combination of craftsmanship and style to the products and brand. ila strives to create handbags and clutches that are unique to the bridal and evening handbag market. Since its inception the fall of 2010, ila Handbags has been in publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings, Mpls/St.Paul Weddings, Weddings by Ritz Carlton, and blogs including 100 Layer Cake, Snippet & Ink, The Eclectic Life, and Oh Hello Friend.
We believe the aesthetic value of our products is only as good as the quality of craftsmanship. That's why all ila Handbags are handmade in our studio and by our Minneapolis-based partners. Our ability to consistently produce products of high quality and value drives the ila brand.
ila Handbags combines clean, modern bag styles with eclectic, bold, vintage-inspired colors and prints. The product and brand is a reflection of the design aesthetic and style of it's founders. We scour local and international markets, auctions, and shops in sourcing fabrics. Not overly influenced by trend— ila offers brides and wedding parties an array of color choices to compliment their theme/concept.
